BETADINE® MICROBICIDES
is a microbicidal, sudsing cleanser that promptly kills most bacteria,
fungi, viruses, protozoa and yeasts. It is indicated for hand hygiene, surgical hand-scrubbing, and topical degerming of patient's skin. (Because Betadine® Surgical Scrub contains detergents which may
interfere with wound healing this product must be rinsed off.)

is the aqueous solution of 10% povidone-iodine. It is a fast-acting, broad-spectrum antiseptic
that kills gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (including antibiotic resistant
organisms), as well as most fungi/yeasts, viruses and protozoa. It is indicated for
degerming skin, wounds and mucous membranes, and for preoperative skin preparation
of patients.
